Possibly the best defense against a burglar in your home is a high quality security system, but even the most advanced system may not stop a very determined burglar. If they get into your home, they’ll go for your valuables.

Thankfully, there are ways in which you can prevent this from happening, and it all involves hiding your valuables in some rather sneaky areas.

Here are three useful hiding spots that you can place your valuables in and prevent them from potentially being stolen.

Toys

Believe it or not, valuables can actually be hidden inside stuffed animals. It’s quite simple:

*Cut along the seam

*Add items to the inside of the toy

*Sew the seam back together

Feminine Hygiene Products

If you choose to hide all of your valuables in products such as maxi pads and tampons, chances are a burglar will never think to go anywhere near products like those. Of course, you should also keep the actual products themselves in their respective packaging along with your valuables.

Bank

This is perhaps one of the safest places to store your valuables. Consider getting a safe deposit box and store items that you know you won’t need immediate access to.
