Some of Houston’s highest-ranking school districts are considered to have great schools, sufficient resources, and exceptional teachers and students.
Here are five schools districts that have been ranked as being among the best in the Houston area:
Friendswood Independent School District
This district received an “A” in terms of academics, “B-” for student culture and diversity, “B” for both resources and facilities, “B+” for teachers, and was ranked at an overall 4.1 out of 5 for overall experience.
Pearland Independent School District
This district was graded with an “A” for academics. Furthermore, it also received an “A+” for both student culture and diversity, “B” for facilities and resources, “A-” for teachers, and was ranked 4.0 out of 5 for general experience.
Katy Independent School District
For academics, this district received a grade of “A”. Other grades included “A” for teachers, “A+” for student diversity and culture, “B” for resources and facilities, and a ranking of 3.9 out of 5 for experience.
Clear Creek Independent School District
This district was granted a grade of “A” for academics, as well as an “A” for teachers, “B” for resources and facilities, “A” for student diversity and culture, and an overall ranking of 3.8 out of 5.
Humble Independent School District
This school district was given an overall ranking of 3.9 our of 5 based on overall experience. Furthermore, it was also granted a grade of “A-” in terms of academics, “B+” for facilities and resources, “A+” for student culture and diversity, and “B” for teachers.
These five school districts are only a few out of many that were ranked in the Houston area. In all, there are many that meet many of the same grades and other criteria from those who were asked about them.
